Our unique work varies from standout promotional films for undergraduate courses, to bespoke animation telling human stories from real sanctuary seekers. Every brief is different and we love it.
Undergraduate Recruitment Campaign - 'Accept or Question'
PURPOSE:
Paid adverts on social media to inspire and encourage viewers to click through and engage with campaign content, sign up for events, explore courses available and apply at King's.
DELIVERY:
Thought provoking, stock image and video based with voiceover to reinforce key messages.
6s, 15s & 30s Hero video. Also 'Issue' versions: Environment & Climate Change, Homelessness, Technology, Health.
Delivered 16:9, 1:1, 9:16.
Women Entrepreneurs - Entrepreneurship Institute
PURPOSE:
A proud, powerful, and emotive video to celebrate three years of research and practice in supporting women entrepreneurs at King’s, highlighting the Entrepreneurship Institute’s commitment to supporting women. Honest and inspiring tone with an emotional crescendo to showcase real women entrepreneurs and their personal experiences.
DELIVERY:
Main 2min video 16:9, 40s cutdown in 1:1 and 9:16.
War Studies BA Course Promotional Video
PURPOSE:
Reshape the narrative surrounding the perception of ‘War Studies as a UG & PG degree. The course explores the broader phenomenon of war and its impact.
DELIVERY:
1 x 2.5min video and social cutdowns. We recorded alumni to narrate the purpose and then edited their answers to create a very visual video that plays with typography and sound design. The fast-paced and flowing nature of the video delivers a lot of information in short time, keeping the viewer engaged.
Disinformation Video Series
PURPOSE:
A series of ‘explainer’ videos based on countering Disinformation on Weapons of Mass Destruction, funded by high level government to understand and counter disinformation on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear threats.
DELIVERY:
7 x 2min videos spanning different case studies and specific examples. We recorded scripted piece to cameras with each presenter on campus against a coloured backdrop. Stock footage and typography, combining prominent news clippings help to bring each message to life.
Geography UG & PG Course - Promotional Video
PURPOSE:
Engage potential students to study at King's.
DELIVERY:
After the tremendous success of the War Studies video, we were asked to once again capture students speaking genuinely about the course, and generated excitement that resonated with the vibrant visuals and animated typography.
2min main video plus cutdowns in 1:1 for social.
This video won Gold at the 2023 EVCOM London Live & Film Awards.
Energy Survey Animation
PURPOSE:
Video to support information as part of a survey on the regulation and education activities in the energy sector. Shown to a selected group of energy consumers who were asked questions about the content.
DELIVERY:
1.5 min video including the design and creation of a character animation and background scenes in a household to bring the script to life.
Utilising free stock footage, icons and background scenery and professional voice over with extra subtitled version.
NMES (Natural Mathematics, Engineering Sciences) Promotional Videos
PURPOSE:
Showcase successful academic/industry collaboration to increase opportunities for King’s to work with more external businesses in the future.
DELIVERY:
Scripted piece to cameras with b-roll footage filmed on location.
3 x 1min videos and 1 x combined cutdown version.
Sanctuary Hub - Safe Pathways Project
PURPOSE:
Communicate key messages from a research project that investigated how providing safe and legal routes to the UK is a better policy approach to managing forced migration that deterrent methods.
DELIVERY:
Using comments from real forced migrants, we crafted scripts and recorded different voices on site, then designed bespoke artwork to animate in a variety of different typographical approaches.
1 x 2.5min video and 4 x social versions in 1:1.
Health & Social Care Policy Masters Degree - Promotional Video
PURPOSE:
Eye-catching video to establish and launch the new master’s course to our target audience.
DELIVERY:
Fast paced edit, straight to the point, engaging. Informal sounding Q&A for quick fire info about the course with supporting text to reinforce messages. Academic’s answers were slightly scripted, looking to camera but directed to feel as natural as possible.
1 x 1.5min video and 25s cutdown version in 16:9, 1:1, 9:16, 4:5.
King's Business School Promotional Video
PURPOSE:
A concise overview of the school’s key messages and priorities, to act as a multipurpose ‘shop window’ for the Business School. Primarily through various digital platforms, such as the YouTube cover video, or the Business School microsite homepage.
DELIVERY:
1 x 1.5min video and 40s cutdown version in 9:16.
Full day shoot encompassing filmed piece to cameras with multiple business school alumni and academics paired with supplied b-roll footage.
